Originally from LaPlace, Louisiana, Dr. Ramage has well over a decade of experience building her wealth of knowledge and expertise in the dental profession. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, she truly enjoys working with children, as well as their parents and her amazing team, so that they can improve their oral health in a safe and exciting environment.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Ever since she could remember, Dr. Ramage has always wanted to be part of the medical field while helping others. During her high school years, she had the opportunity to shadow various medical occupations. Before she knew it, she fell in love with dentistry and decided becoming a dentist was her dream goal. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with and helping patients and families, as well as having the chance to combine her scientific and artistic skills.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
To begin her journey into the dental profession, Dr. Ramage first attended Northern Arizona University School of Dentistry and Oral Health to earn her dental doctorate. She also completed her Pediatric Residency at Baylor Texas A&M. After graduating from dental school in 2009, she went on to serve in the military for eight years—first as a general dentist and later as a pediatric dentist. In 2015, she became board-certified. She then decided to move back to Arizona in 2018 to work in her private practice.
Today, Dr. Ramage still serves in the Army Reserves as a dentist. She is also certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She’s also dedicated to continuing education to remain on top of advancements in the field, and she’s an active member in professional organizations, such as:
- American Dental Association
- Arizona Dental Association
- American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- Fellow in the American College of Dentists
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office and dentistry, Dr. Ramage is happily married. She and her husband have a son as well as two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, participating in Peloton, and traveling whenever she can, having already visited over 35 different countries. One fun fact about Dr. Ramage: she’s ambidextrous—writing and practicing dentistry left-handed while doing almost everything else with her right hand!
